Robert has 15 years of experience in project finance, investment, M&A, and procurement of renewable and traditional energy generation. In his current role, Robert manages power procurement and energy infrastructure development for Google’s global data centers.  In addition to traditional energy procurement, Robert executes renewable energy power purchase agreements for Google, which has secured over 3.5 gigawatts of renewable energy, making Google the largest corporate offtaker of renewables in the world.

Prior to joining his current team, Robert was a Principal in Google’s Treasury office, where he worked on renewable energy tax equity investing and asset management.  Prior to Google, Robert was an SVP at LS Power Equity Advisors, where he was responsible for sourcing, diligencing, and structuring of generation investments. Earlier in his career, Robert worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. as an Investment Banking Associate in the Energy group and began his career at Credit Suisse, on their Global Power team.

Robert holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University.
